FAQ
How many pictures, and how will we receive our photos?
The number of images varies depending on the session, but I always ensure you receive a beautiful collection of carefully selected images. After your session has been edited you will receive a email with a link to your digital gallery for download.
How should we dress for our family session?
I will help with these decisions when you book. But I say pick a color pallet of around 3 colors (this includes pant color), don't mix too many patterns, and have at least one person in a pattern that brings it all together.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
The best time is usually within the first couple weeks, when they're mostly still sleeping all day. Mom is usually tired but we take our time with these sessions if needed to keep everyone comfortable and happy.
What is a multi-family session?
This is a session I developed for big families, like mine. It can get expensive for everyone to book their own sessions, so I combined a package to accommodate families with 3+ individual families who also want extended family photos. Bring in your siblings and their families or significant other, plus mom + dad, grandparents, aunts + uncles, etc. for one big generational photoshoot. Priced at $150 a family.
Do you have a studio?
I have a small studio space on the second floor of my father's place of business that is available in the colder months of the year. Unfortunately is not handicap accessible at this time.
Do you do mini sessions?
Occasionally, I'll offer mini sessions throughout the year. Mini sessions are 15 minutes are $125. The only way to find out minis, is by checking the upcoming mini sessions page on my website, or by following my Instagram account and checking stories. @sjbphotographymichigan
